El 9 de septiembre de 1995 se lanzó al mercado la primera generación de PlayStation, y hasta ahora, 20 años más tarde, es la consola más vendida en el mundo. Dejamos atrás diferentes modelos para llegar hasta la PlayStation 4, que junto con la PlayStation 2, han sido las de mayor éxito.
En Europa, la primera generación fue lanzada el 29 de septiembre, y ha día de hoy, fue una fecha a recordar para muchos jugadores.
